I seriously can not believe 2007 is over! What a whirlwind of a year! Here are just a few things that happened in 2007:
I turned 30 (and managed to survive the mental meltdown!)
My sister got married
I started teaching 3rd grade (ie decided what I wanted to do when I grow up)
I grew up! :) :)
Oh and I moved back to Florida from Salt Lake City!
Those are the big milestones but there were lots of mini milestones too, most of them too personal to mention :) 2007 was definitely a year of growth, some of it was quite painful! But I think I learned alot and all of the craziness somehow made me a better person! (I hope)
I am really looking forward to 2008! Its going to be great! :) I always set goals around this time of year and here are a few worth mentioning:
Go to the Temple more often
Buy a house
Get my permanent teaching certificate (by Dec 2008)
Decide what kind of Master's Degree I want to obtain and prepare to apply to that program (right now it's between Master's in Teaching and Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy)
Be a better Visiting Teacher :)
I'll keep everyone posted on my progress and feel free to bug me about them from time to time (but not too much b/c I tend to get kind of stubborn when pushed)
I hope everyone's 2008 will be great too! :)
